A very nice and unique Canarian restaurant, with a superb atmosphere, as well as the staff and food. Highly recommended. The meat is top-quality, as are the starters and fresh cheese. The decor is very thoughtful, and the staff is very friendly.

THE BEST GUACHINCHE IN THE WORLD!
I 100% recommend to everyone who reads this review that they stop by this guachinche, magnificent homemade and local food, perfect service and atmosphere. We went for a bachelor party to Tenerife and found this restaurant. 14 of us went to dinner and all 14 of us left there wanting to go back in.
The food was a 10, everything was delicious, whatever you order you will love it, homemade food and everything delicious, it is impossible to go wrong with this place
The service was another 10, the waiter Yaco treated us wonderfully, a wonderful waiter who makes you feel at home, he treated us magnificently and was very patient!! Carmen and Kiko watched us from the kitchen and from time to time came out to see how everything was and made us feel like it was our home.
And about the atmosphere, I can say that it is a small, charming place but very well set up. I loved the decoration and especially the collection of banknotes that was hanging on the wall. A pleasure to see you, known family! Yaco, Carmen and Kiko are wonderful people, without a doubt we will return, hope everything goes great for you and see you soon!❤️

Had a great time at The Irish Oak with Chris and the team, Chris involves everyone and everyone has a great time! Look forwards to more nights of karaoke fun!!
The bar is located opposite the Hotel Gala and we visited the Irish Oak on a number of occasions during our stay for drinks and food.
All of the staff are warm and very welcoming, in particular Wesley and Sue who served us breakfast a few times
The quality of food and service is fantastic and a great menu with plenty of choice
The bumper fry up is to die for and sets you up for the full day.
Drinks are plentiful, service impeccable and all with a genuine smile.

Wow, such a lovely new restaurant for Los Abrigos. The food is beautiful. We had poppadoms with chutney to start. We then had chicken tikka biryani and chicken tikka shashlik with a cheese naan bread. The chicken was sooooo tender, it just melted in your mouth. As a Los Abrigos resident, we will certainly be back again. Thank you to all the staff for a great experience.

El Mirador de Los Abrigos restaurant is located in a privileged spot. Enjoy a spectacular terrace with wonderful sunsets.
Enjoy a wonderful evening with a panoramic view of Los Abrigos Bay and the sensation of being practically underwater.
You can see and breathe in the oceanic aroma while enjoying a selection of seafood dishes, paellas, and fresh fish.
Recommended:
A place with an unbeatable location. We ate on the balcony next to the dining room, and the views alone are enough to fill you up. The fish and seafood were very fresh, and the service was friendly, with a good wine and dessert list. The only drawback was the loud, club-like music, which didn’t fit with the place and prevented you from fully enjoying the meal.
Perfect service, food, oysters, shrimp, scallops, and exquisite rice with octopus and limpets with Albariño on the side, highly recommended.

Excellent cannot fault: What a gem cannot fault this place from staff to cocktails. Both were brilliant freshly made and the presentation was fab. Worth a visit even the guy making them came to ask if all was ok and he obviously took great pride in his work and had passion in the presentation.

Recommenders Comments: What a gem of a place, stumbled on this the first night of our holiday and ended up going back not just for the food but the awesome atmosphere, live music and the absolutely amazing, friendly and welcoming staff, who were just so energetic and beaming. It’s clear why it’s been busy each time we visited.
Coffee culture is a staple in Tenerife. It’s important to know what to expect when ordering.
Canarian coffee is known for its smooth, balanced flavor and medium body. It has a distinct nutty, chocolatey flavor with hints of caramel and fruit. The coffee is generally medium-roasted, which helps to bring out the subtle flavors and aromas of the beans.
On the island of Tenerife, in La Matanza de Acentejo, Finca Sanssouci has the distinction of being the northernmost coffee grown in the world. Because of the island’s isolated location and lack of pests, this coffee is grown without any pesticides or fungicides.
Cortado
Correctly know as the ‘cortadito’ , it consists of a shot of espresso with a dash of hot milk. It comes in a small coffee cup or glass with a saucer.
Cortado Largo
A cortado served with extra milk. The cortado largo is served in a tall glass to differentiate it from the café con leche.
Café Solo
Order a ‘café’ in a Canarian bar and you get you a café solo. The solo is strong and may disagree with your stomach.
Café con Leche
Café con leche is served in a white cup and saucer often with excess of sugar. Often frothy and rarely made with anything other than full-fat milk.
Cappuccino
This is as fancy as coffee gets in Tenerife. Cappuccino is just a café con leche with chocolate powder on top.
Leche y Leche
A cortado or cortado largo served in a tall glass with a hefty dollop of condensed milk at the bottom. The leche leche always comes with oft-unused sachets of sugar.
Barraquito
Barraquito is a sweet coffee – very popular in Tenerife. In the north of the island, it is also known as zaperoco or saperoco.
The Barraquito is layered by density of ingredients, bottom to top: Condensed milk, Licor 43, espresso and foamed milk. It´s served in a medium or tall glass , and is decorated with ground cinnamon and lemon or lime peel.
Descafeinado
The descafeinado comes, unless you specify otherwise, as a cup of hot milk with an instant sachet on the side.

The staff friendly and the drink prices were reasonable
But, the one thing that made st Eugene’s was its compare Paul Price.
He is one of the best ad libers I have seen he made our evenings I think we went in to see him as much as the acts

We were in Tenerife 3 nights, and EVERY night we ate here. I have never had such delicious fish in my entire life. The daily caught grouper was beyond delicious, as were the fresh mixed salad, calamari, salted potatoes, even the bread rolls and mojos were fantastic.
The staff was excellent, and always made the room for us, with a stunning view of the marina to watch the night fall and people pass by below. The gentleman who seemed to be the manager was always so kind to us and helpful in navigating our selections. They have an extensive local wine menu. This restaurant fed our bellies and souls. Highly recommended.
Visit our restaurant to enjoy a great lunch with a magnificent view to Los Abrigos Harbour, where we offer tasty dishes and fish from our land and sea. We are proud to have served our Canary product to the King himself.

Customer Review: Fabulous pub / restaurant with a brilliant atmosphere. The place was buzzing both nights that we went. The friendly staff & great banter from the public created a very nice family atmosphere. The evenings Sonny comes on and does the karaoke, he creates a brilliant atmosphere with his one liners and has a great way of gelling everyone together. Been a long time I laughed so much, In between karaoke there is a break where an act comes on, the Robbie Williams is a must see with his sharp humour has the place really coming together & does sarcasm brilliantly 😂 Wish we found this place sooner as it was just down the road from our hotel. Thanks for 2 great night Sonny & staff and will definitely be back.

Michael Leavy Junior makes this venue the place to be, bringing you his amazing voice of Soul, Motown, Reggae, Hip-Hop, Northern Soul & more. On Wednesday it was a little quiet, but within minutes of hearing him sing, the place filled up with people and literally became a full on party with a fantastic atmosphere. The staff are friendly and although busy, they work extremely hard & get you served quickly 10/10. Friendly staff greeted us and took our orders. The Milkshake was very refreshing, a good serving and was nice experience. The restaurant itself was very busy in the evening so we struggled to find a table. As well, the sauce bucket had a mini pair of scissors ! It was a comedic and functional touch. Food wait was good with the knowledge that they were very busy. The deep fried scampi was not overcooked at all, and was v almost juicy in my mouth but not in any way sludgy. The steak with the chef’s special paté looked succulent and plated nicely. The restaurant also had multiple TVs, which played English news channels. They also play live sport some days. A good family friendly restaurant!

“Some years ago this restaurant was the Aries Irish Bar that I’d used many times and was disappointed when it was a victim of the pandemic. However on our visit last year we were pleased with its replacement, albeit very different, and had a great meal. Our return this year to Tenerife allowed us to revisit Christie’s and I’m so glad we did. It’s an outstanding restaurant and worthwhile finding it as it’s a little off the ‘beaten track’. Pride in its cooking skills is obvious with the open plan kitchen as is the menu that is not oversized and has a selection of ingredients that can be maintained as always fresh. We shared the (very) garlic prawns as a starter; great!! My main was a simple chicken pasta dish with tomatoes, peppers and onions, it was a treat. The lady had Hake in leek sauce, again well cooked with a subtle sauce. The fish is covered with the sauce but can be served on the side. My only disappointment is the lack of vegetables available with the fish, but that’s not a massive issue. The house white is good as is the Dorada arriving in an iced glass. We loved the night and I recommend it strongly.”

This place was bustling when we arrived and we could tell why. All the staff were excellent and the food was delicious. We always aim to leave a restaurant with full bellies and acknowledging good customer service and we did both here. I ordered the garlic bread with cheese, nachos with chilli and cheese and then the pepperoni pizza, and I would recommend all items (especially the nachos and chilli). We even ended the night with a complimentary shot of Limoncello!

Delicious food with the best Canarian products, on the seafront in Golf del Sur! What a truly amazing restaurant. The food is incredible and the staff are great. Love Dal, she is a lovely lady and always has a lovely big smile on her face. Just wish I could stay longer and eat my way through the whole menu.

All English Bacon, Sausages, Eggs; Beans etc and English Toast (Buttered) Prices are great too with a normal Breakfast costing €5.90 and a Large Breakfast at just €7.50. Highly recommend it for anyone who likes Traditional Breakfasts with Lovely staff and a Cozy environment.”

For good health, a good diet to take care of our body we have to eat more vegetables, a good cook selects and reviews all the ingredients that need to be used to serve a healthy dish cooked at the moment, it usually takes 2-3 minutes for each dish.

“Wow , so not miss this place .. cocktails are amazing , we had prawn cocktail to start … fillet steak for 19 euros, honestly I would have paid 40 euros .. it was soooo good , you will not be disappointed.”
Discovered this when we typed in nearest steak place to our hotel ole tropical. Minutes up the road and nearly missed it but found it at the end of the row of little shops/food places. Such a relaxing chilled atmosphere. Seems like a little family run business. Server did tell us a 30 minute wait for food but that didn’t bother us as that didn’t seem long anyway. Ordered mussels and calamari for starters which was delicious. Both ordered fillet for main course and it was cooked to perfection. Probably best we’ve eaten and we are fussy eaters. Wait didn’t seem long as well. Waitress was always attentive with drinks. Would highly recommend. We would bring the kids here too. Was very reasonably priced too. Will always come each time we are here now”
