Small, family-run tapas bar, located in a quiet corner, just a 3-minute walk from the Los Cristianos bus station. Cuisine is mostly homemade, with an authentic selection of Spanish tapas, pinchos, and sharing platters, accompanied by Spanish and Canarian wines .

The menu is complemented by a carefully curated selection of Spanish and international beers.
We serve breakfast daily from 7:00 to 12:00, tapas from 11:00 to 22:00, and close at 23:00.

Very welcoming friendly bar with excellent experienced friendly bar staff who know what they are doing & we always received a warm welcome no matter what time of day or night we went in.
So heard the music coming from our Hotel balcony, and decided we would call in the following evening. Pleased we did – All the staff – Maggsy and Co were welcoming and the regular customers also – it was like we had known them for years. Really good atmosphere

A very pleasant and relaxing bar. Great company, very reasonably priced drinks and food with good entertainment.

Recommended
Nice place to stop for a bit of lunch and a couple of beers.
Staff nice food not expensive but nice.
They have free Wi -Fi and a big TV.
A small venue but plenty of seats outside.
Food and drinks are reasonably priced and it’s definitely a place to consider a mid day snack.

Tenerife Resort Los Gigantes

In Los Gigantes the summers are short, warm and humid, while the winters are long, comfortable and dry. Los Gigantes is windy but mostly clear year round.

Los Gigantes is an impressive must-see destination located on the west coast of Tenerife. The cliffs of Los Gigantes de Tenerife are one of the natural jewels that the island offers and an essential visit in the Canary Islands.

It dates from the sixteenth century and was built on an old Nasrid gate and in which you can see Roman statues and inscriptions.

Los Gigantes has a modern marina, opposite the Poblado Marinero -an architectural complex reminiscent of the Canarian style – a fishing district with a small port that is especially active in the tuna harvest from April to November. The marina has 368 berths spread over five pontoons with fresh water and electricity, as well as a travel-lift, a service station and mechanics on the dock itself. If a boat holiday is your thing then check out Moovers II at Amarailla Golf Marina.

Los Gigantes boasts an attractive sand beach but being black volcanic sand, is not rated particularly highly among beach lovers.

Tenerife Resort Playa Paraiso

For the warmest weather, the obvious choices are in Tenerife South. Playa Paraiso typically enjoys the warmest average year-round temperatures on the island, mostly calm with no strong winds. High and low temperatures are typically 21c/16c in January and 29c/23c in August.

Playa Paraiso is a quiet and chilled place in Tenerife South, close enough to grab a taxi to the more popular resorts if you want to go for a night of fun. Playa Paraíso is technically on the Costa Adeje but it is not the Costa Adeje that most people know. It’s a bit off the beaten path.

  • Coastal Walk to Callao Salvaje, also relatively undeveloped, a tranquil place. The coastal path can lead you here, though do bear in mind that it’s unpaved in parts. En route to Playa de Ajabo beach and Callao Salvaje you may see wildflowers as well as breathtaking coastal scenery.
  • El Puertito – To see unspoiled Tenerife, take a trip to El Puertito, a nearby village. The picturesque black sandy bay here is flanked by soaring cliffs, and the colourful fishing boats plying the waters only add to its charm.
  • Hike to La Caleta (moderately challenging). Wear sturdy shoes, as you’ll venture off the path in places. The distance is around six miles (10 km) and it takes around two-and-a-half hours to complete the route.

Los Cristianos began life as a tiny fishing village in the south of Tenerife but is now the second busiest port in Tenerife. However, the town still maintains a distinct Canarian flavour with narrow streets and passageways that give it an authentic feel. For less adventurous holiday makers, this is the closest you may get to authentic Canarian life. However, the town is a perfect springboard from which to explore other parts of the island, or other islands.

Los Cristianos has a fantastic range of restaurants, from the simplest cafe to upscale fine dining. Nearly all public promenades, walkways and beaches have excellent disabled access and ramps.

Whilst Los Cristianos tends to cater to a more mature clientele in the winter months, the resident population is quite young. For late night action, the place to visit is CC San Telmo, a long strip of bars and restaurants next to Las Vistas Beach. Early evening is fairly sedate with life focused around the intimate restaurants and ‘chill-out’ terrace bars but things typically liven up after midnight. The strip also has a couple of indoor clubs/discos open until very late.

Los Cristianos has 2 excellent beaches, Las Vistas and the Harbour beach. Las Vistas is by far the more attractive with light coloured sand, turquoise waters, water sports and almost every other amenity.

Tenerife Resort El Medano

El Médano has a golden sand beach, shallow waters and moderates waves. Over time the center of El Médano has become a popular spot for windsurfing and kite-surfing due to it’s constant winds. It is one of South Tenerife’s most attractive beaches, both for water sport enthusiasts and for those who are looking for a family-oriented resort.

    Great location, plenty of supermarkets and shops nearby.
    Pool area is lovely very clean and always plenty of space and sunbed availability no problem.
    Kids pool as well as a big pool was perfect for my 5 year old son.
    Beach is 10 minute walk away we went twice and really enjoyed it.
    Hosts are really accommodating and great for recommendations.

    From the very second we got there
    Cat was brilliant in our needs even picking us up personally from the airport..
    The apartment was beautiful, clean and spacious with everything we needed for our stay including a private pool for the complex.
  • Ideal location with shops and restaurants very close and a short 5-10 minute walk down to the beach in Los Christianos..
    Cat was a super host who made us feel very welcome and comfortable. She was in regular contact to see if we needed anything aswell as giving us great suggestions and recommendations of places to eat, go and see..
    Already looking into a return visit in October…
    Would highly recommend to anyone who wants a great apartment to stay in.. Nice, quiet and relaxed unlike most hotels.

  • Just back from a great week staying in Parque Margareta which is just around from this bar. It’s a lively bar with a different great entertainment act on each night at 10am but with Stevie G comparing Karaoke from 8pm before & after, he holds the audience well & brilliant singers. Costa del Silencio was one for the first resorts to be built in the 1960’s. As its name suggests, quite a tranquil area although is a little jaded in places. For the warmest weather, the obvious choices are in Tenerife South. A 16 miles area typically enjoys the warmest average year-round temperatures on the island, mostly calm with no strong winds. High and low temperatures are typically 21c/16c in January and 29c/23c in August.Costa del Silencio, also known as Ten Bel, is a tourist resort near Las Galletas. Silencio can occasionally be windy. In winter maybe a couple of degrees cooler and in summer, several degrees warmer.

Golf del Sur is a golf and beach resort in South Tenerife. It includes Amarilla Golf Marina and boasts a golf club there as well as the golf course in Golf del Sur itself. This resort offers all year round sun, golf, boats. spa and beach.

The Marina is now the mooring point of  The Sub Fun Cinco submarine, carrying a maximum of 48 passengers plus a crew of 2. A trip on The Sub Fun Cinco usually lasts around 50 minutes, during which you will normally be submerged for around 40 minutes, and departs throughout the day from 10am.

It’s the place to go for everything golf. The landscape is dominated by lush greens and fairways, palm trees, ravines, indigenous plants and of course, there are driving ranges and clubhouses, including a 27-hole championship course.

A beautiful coastal walk runs the length of the shoreline, you don’t need walking boots to enjoy it. Take your time, take a rest on the many benches on the way and above all, enjoy that ‘wind in your hair’ feeling while the sun beats down from the glorious blue skies above. The walk starts in Amarilla Golf where there is a lovely marina (departure point for Submarine Safaris) and runs all the way through Golf del Sur, taking in a little town called San Blas catering mostly to tourists.
