“Some years ago this restaurant was the Aries Irish Bar that Iād used many times and was disappointed when it was a victim of the pandemic. However on our visit last year we were pleased with its replacement, albeit very different, and had a great meal. Our return this year to Tenerife allowed us to revisit Christieās and Iām so glad we did. Itās an outstanding restaurant and worthwhile finding it as itās a little off the ābeaten trackā. Pride in its cooking skills is obvious with the open plan kitchen as is the menu that is not oversized and has a selection of ingredients that can be maintained as always fresh. We shared the (very) garlic prawns as a starter; great!! My main was a simple chicken pasta dish with tomatoes, peppers and onions, it was a treat. The lady had Hake in leek sauce, again well cooked with a subtle sauce. The fish is covered with the sauce but can be served on the side. My only disappointment is the lack of vegetables available with the fish, but thatās not a massive issue. The house white is good as is the Dorada arriving in an iced glass. We loved the night and I recommend it strongly.”
